Has anyone seen a bolt in 986 harness bar?

I have been looking, and looking,
but am unable to find a bolt in harness bar for a 986.

I would like to put a set of real harnesses in the car,
and will need a bar to do it,
because the factory roll bar is way too high.

Anyone know of one I can buy,
or will I have to make one?

Thanks!
-Brad

Do a search here for mounting ideas. Standard practice is to wrap around the lower roll bar or add a cage. Race seats are a must as a 5/6 pt harness does not work with stock seats.

I have been looking,
but unable to find a bolt in bar...
(Similar to what Brey-Krause offers for the early 911s)
Preferably one that would bolt into the seatbelt pivot points on the roll bar,
and drop the level a few inches.
This is a weekend DE car, so a full cage is not really in the cards..

I do have some seats on the way (momo buckets)
but wrapping around the factory roll bar will both:
-make for a completely wrong geometry, and
-eliminate my brand new wind deflectors....

If nobody makes one, I'll just fabricate one,
but all the discussion I can find seems like the folks who used to make them
(Sparco, and DMC (?))

Just thought I would ask you guys before I get the welder out...

Thanks!
