Arrow Love my croc: autocross represent!! (lots of pics)

Hey gang -

Met some nice socal peoples Saturday at the Q...were any of you there?

This was my second auto-x, but the first time it was officially timed. What can I say, but...1st in class!!!

The track:

Noble:

Smurf-mobile, fastest car of the day:

One of many GT3s:

My weapon:

Parade lap:

Teslas, eerily quiet and immediate acceleration:

Battleship grey old school...very fast:

In amazing shape too:

Can you say downforce?:

GT3 smiling because it knows its fast:

I would bathe myself in alcantara if it were socially acceptable:

The business end:

One of my favorites, who doesn't like duck-tails?:

Sweet Cayman S with GT3 vent and track suspension:

Battle-ready:

Carbon fiber helicopter w/ remote cameras:

Rookie takes the hardware:

So yeah, love love love this car. It's odd to have people in GT3s and such commenting on how much they like my car. I love her too; performs like a champ on the auto-x and then daily drive her to work. Such a sexy shape...makes me smile every time I walk up to her.

Congrats! Some great cars at your event. You planning on staying stock or modding?

Thanks!

I'm under CPO warranty and don't want to jeopardize that, so the plan is to stay stock. But we all know how that works...

Some things I've tossed around: IPD Plenum & tune, FVD exhaust, short throw, an aesthetic drop, Dension gateway...

Wow, looks like it was a fun day... Congrats on the 1st place!

Maybe I'll see you at a coming event, or around the streets in SD!

I have another pic but its essentially the same, just a slightly higher angle. It was a GT3 vent cut into the front bumper and a GT3 matte black plastic lip. The lip added a nice touch that complimented the GT3 vent.

After looking at his and mine side by side, it works well on his car due to the contrast created with the white paint. My seal grey has the 'aluminum look' lip already attached, although you can't tell because it blends well with the paint. If I had white, I would go with his setup; it looked great.

Thanks! I don't see many crocs in SD, although there was one with a tint parked outside of my place in PB the other night. I'd like to attend the Willow Springs event, but might go snowboarding instead.

Amazing... I didn't know that Porsche can do good on autocross events. I always thought it is too heavy to do so.

Oh yeah, there are plenty of auto-x junkie regulars out there. My instructors were all shocked at how quick I am in the CS is out of the box. I give all credit to the car.

I'd be more interested to see how your turbo would do once she's sorted out!
