DavidM is infamous around these parts
Looks like there's just one person on board the Boxster, while 2 people on board of the 911. That will make a difference in a test like this.

Two people does make a difference. The guy in the 911 shifts pretty fast too. I don't think he can blame "slow shifts" for the 1 car or so the Boxster pulls. Close race.

Not sure but this same car/driver did 7:56 in nurburgring..that's an awesome time..

997S and 987S are fairly close in performance. I'm not surprised. The main difference is in feel. 997S feels a little more planted given the weight. 987 feels more balanced though. I personally prefer 997 because it has more room in the back.
