man..talk of disrupting marriage over a car seems a little too much -- unless the price is way over budget.

That's the whole point...
She was trying to control me by making an idle threat, and I just had to say NO.

I've been crunching some #'s all week! I'm trying to see if I swing the idea of trading in the wife for 2 younger models and still maintain my lifestyle .. Lol I'll post the updates P-Pro.. No all is good on the homefront, the wife took the car out solo for a one hour ride.. I engaged the " sport plus" button and " sports exhaust" and as she drove off and I could her her winding the gears out miles down the road, I realized I shouldn't have pushed those buttons! Lol.. She came back smiling...
The sports plus button is very very sick! Turns the car into an animal! Can't wait to hit daytona track dsy.

VERY COOL!
My wife is fine with a manual but has yet to drive the car. I think she is just being overly cautious.
I think you are right, two 20's would be a bit more expensive to maintain than one 40.

Stockkiller, where in Florida are you located? THere is a two-days PCA DE coming up at Sebring (17- 18th). You should consider it, since you still have plenty of time to put on those 2000 "break-in" miles. I remember I hit the 2000 mark on the way down to Homestead-Miami for a DE. I think I got on the trackw with 2015 miles on the clock. I put on some additional 60 or 70 DE miles - what a blast.

It's almost like cops key in on new sports car owners(w-dealer plate) to toss a little cold water on you as you sport around in your new ride. Any cops care to comment on this one?

While 20's are fun, they're not worth the financial and psychological pain. Oy

Congrats! And I agree with Lithium about joining the Suncoast PCA for Sebring if there are spots still available, they really run a great track day and I can't wait to get out there in a week and a half!
