boxster chips

I see adds everywhere for performance chips that add 60hp and 4 to 7 mpg to the boxster for 69.95 and take 15 min to install. I know you get what you pay for so I do not expect a 70 dollar chip to do anything. Is there a chip that does provide real gains (15hp or more) and if so what is the cost and how complicated is the install? Can anyone help out with a link? Thank you
My boxster is an 04 and not an s

Yes!

Easy!

Lose weight!

get rid of all what is not necessary! and lighten what is!

you can even earn a buck buy selling the surplus bits & pieces!

I wish it was that easy. I am actually going to be adding weight. Not much maybe 30 pounds at the most. I am gutting the factory installed audio system and starting over with something worth listening to. The weight will be added by the aftermarket amp being installed in the front compartment and the two 8 " subs. One behind each seat.

My 05 Boxster S has Milltek headers, cat- back, and a Softronic chip. An under drive pulley, lightweight flywheel, and new clutch is being installed today. For under $1000 the ECU chip adds 10 hp or so but also adds the Sport Chrono feature. The under drive pulley maybe the best bang for the buck, also about 10 hp.
