Please help with thoughts and information on purchasing a 08 CaymanS
Hey guys,
I stumbled across a techart widebody caymanS and wondering if it is a good deal. The car is a 08 caymanS 6MT with about 33000kms has from what I can tell the following options,
Carrera Red sport seat full leather (but not powered nor memory)
PCM 2.1 (however currently has a upgraded touch screen head unit installed with all the bells and whistles that the stock PCM lacks)
Sport Chrono Package
Remus Exhaust installed (will come with stock exhaust on the side)
Heated Seats
Automatic climate control
Rear PDC
Lowered on H&R coilovers
3 month old 20" pur 40UR rims with continental extremecontact DW tires
a set of Vector Equipment rims (no stock rims will be included)
as stated above with a techart widebody kit including the wing installed and the car painted in Lamborghini Balloon White with a matte clear coat (car was originally carrera white and stock front and rear bumpers will be included)
There my be a few more things that I might have missed out. It comes with full service history at the local porsche dealer. How much would make this car worth buying? They are currently asking 50kCAD. Any inputs would be appreciated and keep in mind I am in Canada so everything is more expensive due to taxes.
Also, what worries me is the cost of maintaing this car as I am planning on keeping it until i drive it to the ground but will it also drive my wallet to the ground because we have a 06 cayenneS in the house and the maintenance cost is an arm and a leg.

I don't know (and most won't) the Canadian market so I can't say whether it's a good deal or not. If you like the car and have the money, and want it, then buy it. Check comparable Caymans in your area and with Kelly Blue Book and Edmunds then average the price between the two and you'll have a basic idea.
