Anyone installed a hardtop on an 05 Boxster? Does it require the install kit like the 04 and earlier models?

I can't be of much help either. My new OEM hardtop for my 05 boxster came painted from the factory in Germany ordered through Suncoast Parts. The shop that installed it for me said it came with any/all parts needed in the shipping crate.

 

I am pretty sure you need to buy and install it. I have all but given up looking for a hardtop for my wife's 987S, so I am no longer remembering it all.

You are in Florida! Check with Suncoast [board sponser]. They are helpful and very good about prices.
