Extreme Low Mile Maintenance Question???

Hey guys...I joined up a few months ago after purchasing my second Boxster. This one's a 2001 'S' with a scant 14675 miles on it today...

Never ever at Porsche. The orig. owner (whom I purchased it from) had a German auto mechanic perform oil changes, ign. switch, etc... but never did any of the Porsche regularly scheduled maintenance, outside of brake fluid flushes.

I am a long time parts guy and even service writer in the car biz...Toyota, Infiniti, Jag, Mazda to name a few! Here's my dilemma...they are asking me at Porsche to do a 60K service that includes among other things, spark plugs??? Now, I know how the service game works. Been there, wrote that!! My question is this: the car spent it's whole life in TX. and indoors in climate controlled storage. I was thinking myself that these would be critical things to do ASAP...

1) Oil/filter
2) Air filter (not too sure it's ever been changed?)
3) Brake fluid flush
4) Serpentine drive belt
5) maybe a fuel filter?

The car runs and performs like a NEW one. I have had over 100 cars and trucks and have never heard of doing spark plugs at 15K or absolutely NEVER heard of having the air bag sensors 'tested' to see if they are operating sufficiently??? (part of the 60K svc.)

Any thoughts on this would be very appreciated and respectfully considered...

Thx. ahead of time!

Welcom to the club. You are absolutely correct, as you said you know the game, I would only inspect the belt and replace if it shows any sign of degregation.
Nice looking car. enjoy it, we all do.
