Laser Interceptor installed...
Laser Interceptor is considered by many in countermeasure market as the best in laser jamming business. I recently acquired the dual head unit from another member and decided to install it myself. I took my time installing the unit to just the way I want it. It took a little longer, but I know how it's put together.
Jammer location - it's pretty difficult to spot. I hope to get it officially tested later this year with some "friendlies" with LIDAR guns. It already went off once as I entered the GA state line from SC on I-95.

Driver view (with a visual LED warning):

Switch location - hidden from view and easy to get to:

For those interested, I wrote up the procedure if you wish to tackle this yourself.

Phew. You're a much more patient man than I. All that crouching and contorting to get to the panels and wires would have killed me. Nice head placement. But is your CPU hanging down like that or did you tuck it away?
I opted for the kill switch under the hand brake. Thought that anything by the legs/feet would require me to bend forward, which isn't the most natural (or, IMO) safe thing to do when you're at highway speeds. My install here
Nice work.

The kill switch is actually closer than it appears in the picture. In driving position, the switch is within arm's reach without moving my body. I also thought of using the e-brake location or hidden in the ashtray... though, they were actually a little bit more awkward... I felt, for me at least. Hiding in the ashtray seemed like a great stealthy idea, but not at all practical when you factor in the scramble to open the ashtray when alarm goes off. The CPU is tucked behind the center console. I took the picture before I wrapped everything up.
I'm still on the fence about wiring up the parking aid switch... but don't see real benefit at the moment.
Have you researched the legality of laser jammers? I bought my car with one installed and am not clear on whether I can get a ticket for having one. I guess the trick is to shut it off once you start getting laser'ed (and slow down)...so the cop would see some false readings, then a real reading once you have slowed.
Yup, right around exit 34 for a few miles and the last 5-10 miles of I-95 always gets heavy with LEO’s. Good place to have one.
Nice job on the install. I’m like Stockkiller, I’ve been contemplating for quite a while now... might have to be one of my next mods.
