Currently debating btw the CARP87ETSDFI or CARP87ETODFI models to install on my Cayman S 2010. I stay in Southern California and was wondering if someone as this system installed so I could listen to the sound level. I really do not want a loud system. Your help would be greatly appreciated.

 

Did you decide to go with Cargraphic? Any thoughts on how it sounds?

 

I have the updated Cargraphic exhaust on my 2006 Cayman S, and couldn't be happier. First, I tried the Billy Boat full system, including headers, and it was a total disaster. The mufflers kept falling apart, and the drone was terrible. Second, I had the first version of the Cargraphic exhaust, but the muffler tips kept tilting down and rubbing the exhaust trim on the bumper. After a few phone calls and photos, Sharkwerks got Cargraphic to send me the updated Cargraphic exhaust with black tips. Outstanding customer service from both Sharkwerks and Cargraphic!!!!

I'm sorry that I can't compare this system to others out there. Truthfully, I've only met one other person with a modified Cayman. (Guess I need to get to some meets.) But it's very livable for everyday use. The only time I notice anything similar to drone is when I load the car from a low RPM. Cruising on the freeway, it's fine. In fact, the tire noise is about as loud as the exhaust...Michelin Super Sports. At WOT, it sounds great!
