Launch Control 981 not engaging

Hi guys, was wondering why my PDk is not engaging launch control.

I was told upon delivery to press the sports plus button then press on Psm button which disengages traction control.

Then you press on the brake pedal while in drive and with the other foot on the has. Problem is when I do all of this the launch control visual doesn't illuminate and if I press on the gas my brakes stop the car from moving and u can hear the pads schreeching as if its in tension.

I've tried many times and it's always the same result. I don't want to mess up my brake disk.

What am I doing wrong here?

Hmmm..... not really sure. Works for me without having to disable PSM.

Foot on brake and in drive... select Sport Plus... stab gas and RPM's bounce off the rev counter at around 5k if memory serves correctly. Release brake and it launches.

Are you pointed straight? Stupid question I know but if you had the wheel turned it might not engage.

Go back to the dealer and have them demonstrate it for you with your car?

Thanks for the reply guys. I will try in the sequence mentioned.

Yeah the car is always positioned straight. Strange that launch control is not being mentioned on the display at all.

I will take it to the dealer also. Hope it isn't serious.
