Gopro rig for my iPhone/Harrys laptimer

I finally figured out a perfect rig for my phone. I use my phone in my car for Harry's Laptimer, and I have not been able to get a good windshield mount for it.

I created a simple rig with a Gopro suction mount, a Gopro adhesive mount and a rigid iPhone case.

I had a suction mount that had a nut that came lose on the three prong connection end. Perfect donor as you have to cut one of the three prong connectors to become a two prong/blade connector, otherwise the thread on the screw is not long enough. The Gopro units have three prongs on the base end and two on the others. You have to turn a three into a two for the adhesive base to mount.

On the last photo you can see how I cut the three prong connector to become a two prong/blade.

also, ram suction cup mounts work well with their x-grip.
