Mine is a 13 . It's really loaded up PASM. PSE Ventialted sprts adaptives, Bose Chrono , red seat belts. red sport chrono, carbon fiber ,Classic wheel , etc .

I've been having a blast in it .

Pretty car!! I like those wheels - it looks like they will be easy to keep looking clean. Just a quick wipe of the polished aluminum surface and no worries about the inner darker painted surfaces - a little brake dust in there will never be noticed!! Enjoy!!

I don't feel the V6 is underpowered at all and I do feel that if PDK ever makes it way into the Cayenne refresh then the GTS and Turbo will take huge depreciation hit . A highly speced V6 with two tone interior , ventilated seats , upgraded sound, panoramic roof , bose , camera and sensors optioned to 75K which was as much as a modest Cayenne S but i picked the V6 and still feel it was the better choice . One year later and 15K miles its been fantastic and with 300 Hp I dont feel its underpowered at all for practical street driving.

The Boxster S would be a great second car for all the reasons listed in my last post that you noted as well.

I think the hard part might be the absense of a 911 and in my case i do have the Turbo but as much as folks refer to a Turbo as a daily driver I never felt that way about mine . I also feel that if one likes a convertible I would pick the Boxster over a 911 Cab . My reasoning is that sacrificing the structural integrity of a roof in a 130K peformance car is a pefrormance negative . In a 85K roadster its a fun factor positive . I also feel that a 911 Cab has a larger cabin and one of the better features in the Boxster is that a smaller cabin offers that much less of a top down wind tunnel .
Beautiful Cayenne. Interior color choice is fantastic!

I had a 997S and a 997 Turbo and, like you, neither worked well as a DD for me. I tried it and couldn't get past the fact that I needed more room, less noise.

Thanks guys .

Amerlemans - That Cayenne interior is umber/cream . I bought that car much like with my Boxster -where i saw it on the showroom floor and liked it . My guess is that both of those cars were 'ordered" cars where the deal fell through . With the Cayenne it's more common to see V6 cars very modestly speced and it was explained to me that "it's easier to lease them" . In fact my V6 had an MSRP of 75K and they also had a more simple but decently optioned Cayenne S black/black at 74K . I was even offered more of a discount on the "S" . So on that day i wrestled with two things :1) will I want the extar Hp of the S and 2) will I be able to keep the cream seats clean . I chose the V6 and am so glad i did . I feel that the V8 Cayenne is not as economical as the V6 and not as fast as the Turbo . In short it was simply not the best at anything . Plus now we get to see Porsche using 6 cylinder Turbo engines in the new Panamera S so I have a feeling it wont be long before it makes way to the Cayenne . As for the umber/cream ..the general opinon was "dont wear jeans" . I dont wear jeans often (too hot in Florida) but I think the better advise woild have been "wear faded jeans" . It's the dark blue or black jeans which might scoff the seat and thus far 15K miles and the seats are spotless .
I love the white on umber /cream for Florida because on a sunny day the large car does not feel like a giant oven .
Cant go wrong with it .. at least in my region.
