my name is james and ill be buying my first porsche soon i been looking at 2 with in my price range a 99 boxter 2.5l 83k manual and a 2000 boxter S 3.2l 105k tip tronic

so far i have never owned a tip tronic i have only drove manuals i drive a 03 m3 now i have driven auto but i feel like they are not fast enough i have never had a tip tronic its basically a manual with out a clutch right?

i have read that the 3.2l is less likely to fail then the 2.5l is there any truth to this? im wanting the power of the 3.2 but i have always known the less the miles the better if you where to buy one of this two car what would you buy? and why

 

I'd most likely purchase the Boxster S (depends on the color). I have a 99 Boxster manual and love it. But I think I'd like the S a little more for the extras it offers.
