Unhappy Garage Remote Control Problem

I've got a new garage roll-up door and with it a Somfy Remote.

Problem is my car won't accept the code so I have to keep using the actual remote control itself which is a pain.

Anyone have any experience with this particular one?

I've had other remotes that have worked fine. But not this one.

BR_ is infamous around these parts
I don't have experience with that particular remote but I had issues programming my garage initially. The way it was written in the manual (to me) suggested you have to do one step OR the other. You need to both have the car learn the remote by placing it near the front bumper and THEN ALSO do the programming by holding the button down up by the rear view mirror.

So, maybe you need to have the car learn the remote first????

I'm not familiar with the type of remote you have. Did you first clear the Homelink memory in your car before you tried syncing? If the car has acknowledged the remote...right front turn signal flash...then, sometimes, you have to press the desired button in the car several times before things work. Nice looking "garage" by the way!
