Ok...Great Site...New Owner of a 2010 Boxster...I have done some MOD's to my car, i.e. New Stereo Head Unit (Pioneer AVH-X5500BHS) and front speakers (6.5" Alpine) as well as rear speakers (4 x 3.5" Kickers wired in Parallel) in the storage bin using the speaker mounts from Pelican Parts. Anyways, I want to install an Alpine 4 channel Amp in the front compartment in the bonnet. I have heard of stock amps but I do not have the sound system plus. So, my question is what is this...(See Picture).

I will also be installing a Cayman S Spoiler to replace the drab looking Boxster Spoiler and Installing a Factory Short Shift Kit. So, I know I will be needing some advise. Thanks

 

That's where the factory cd changer and navigation units would go. I have Bose on my 987 and the amp is behind the compartment where the compressor, tools, etc are located
