Is it normal for the Boxster S brakes to squeek when you press them? Also, when I wash the car the brake dust turns into ugly rust right away and disappears after 2 minutes of driving. I take it this is all normal?

The noise could be for the rust you were talking about, and yes the rust on the rotors is normal after washing, just make sure like you said to drive the car and heat up the brakes and burn off that rust.
