Clear bra

Hi guys,
I am in the process of getting a 14 white Cayman. My last car had small rock chips all over the front , so I am thinking of getting a clear bra. What is a good price on this from a dealer?
Thanks for your replies..

I payed 800.00 for my white 987 Cayman 3 years ago. Covered front bumper, lights and mirrors. Best investment ever. Will do the same on my new white Cayman. Not a single mark on the front end. I went with the 3M product. Dealers will mark up the price. Go to the source. Ask them who the use or check with local Porsche guys and save yourself $400.00 or more.

mlbraptor,

Congrats on the '14 Cayman, they are amazing machines. Usually front coverage will be offered in two different options.

1) 24" partial coverage. This will include partial coverage on the hood, and front fenders. But will include full front bumper, and mirrors.

2) Full Front Clip. This is the entire hood, front fenders, bumper, and mirrors.

That being said though any installer will let you pick and choose the amount of coverage you wish. Most people opt in for headlight protection as well.

Because pricing varies by location, and installer experience, it's best to call your local installers and get a quote for an accurate price. What area of North Carolina are you located in? I can help direct you to the nearest installer.

Thanks guys; I am near Charlotte.
The dealer said he is going to work with me on the price. If the price doesn't seem fair; I will check a local shop..

I definitely recommend XPEL ultimate... it's been great on my red '14 Cayman so far.

I do admit that this does not prove that the privatization of welfare will work; it is merely an example that shows people are willing to give to a cause they believe in.
