Buying car, need a question answered quickly!

I am purchasing a new Cayman and I have a choice of two cars that are exactly the same except for color and one has PDK buttons and the other has paddles.
I like the white one better but it has the buttons on the multifunction wheel, the other is Basalt black, which is the color of the car I am trading in. Really don't want black again.

So the question is, can I retrofit the paddles? I know people have done it on the older version of the Cayman.

I will be using the car for fun, and DE's so I really wanted the paddles.

By new cayman, do you mean new to you or brand spanking new, as in a 2014 or 2015 car on a dealer lot?
I don't know the answer, but your question was too ambiguous to answer anyway.

I've heard of people adding TechArt paddles...but I would look into... not sure it is actually replaceable for non-paddle version or not...and like said above you'd need to state 987 or 981...
