[QUOTE=speedsterr;4205026]. Rockville porsche or tysons. Depends who will give me a better deal. Sometimes rockville doesn't cooperate.

Go see Casey at Porsche of Silver Spring he has taken care of me on all three Porsche's I have purchased from him. I would never buy a car from Porsche of Rockville, their sales people are very unprofessional.

I bet you can find something made between 2010 and 2012 with under 10k miles which would more than satisfy you, and I doubt you'd spend anywhere close to $100k. For example my Cayman R new was $90k as equipped and I paid $70k for it. It's a 2012 as are all of them. It'll hold its value very well too as the demand is high for them and there aren't ever many used (especially with low miles and with features like Bose, Nav and sport exhaust). Most are not well optioned, especially if it has PDK, which mine does not. Cayman Rs are more narrow focused than a GTS so if you're looking for luxury you don't want one. You should consider a 997 GTS as well.
If I were to go the cayman route it would be very particular. So used would be hard to find. I optioned that GTS with the bare minimum of what I would accept to pay. I could get rid of the PTV and PCCB though and reduce it by 9k to 94k.

I could look for a 997 GTS, but there are not many for sale. That's not a bad idea. I wouldn't mind that. But do they have a 997.2 GTS? I am only interested in the 997.2 not .1 models if I go used.

I even contemplating the cheaper route and just getting a fully optioned M4 for 82k. But I'd have to put an akra on it which adds 5k, since the OEM exhaust is crap.

But, this isn't just a commuter car. It's my commuter, weekend toy, track rat car. So it has to be exceptional at everything.

everyone hates rockville porsche. I don't know why. The one sales guy I have dealt with has been very nice. But I'll look into the Silver Spring one as well, when it's time to buy. Right now, I first have to make a decision on what to buy.

I dislike Porsche of Rockville because of the way they treated my wife. I was away on a business trip and my wife was driving her cayenne to a deposition and he TPMS came on a said she needed air. She went to Porsche of Rockville to get some help and a salesman came up to her and literally made fun of her for not knowing how to put air in her tire. I am a salesman myself I would never make fun of someone for not knowing how to use a product I sell.

I noticed the sport bucket seats are available in the US for the GT3 now. So does that mean the cayman GTS is going to get them as well? They offer them for european cayman GTS. Anyone got any word on this? If they do that then I am definitely getting a cayman GTS for my next car.
