Plastic Rear Window

I had my top changed out last year and so the plastic window is fairly new, but it was hazy and I could barely see out of it. I went to the dealer and they gave me a Porsche cleaning thing for the back window, and for the most part is cleaned it off. It was a pain in the *** and I want to prevent it from fogging up as much as possible. Any recommendations of what I should do?

I heard BMW had the best plastic back window product cleaner, works like a dream. I had a Boxster, and that drove me crazy, but the beemer stuff works really good, and keeps it clear. I have a 997 coupe because long term, I hate the plastic...come on porsche!!!!!!!!!! call BMW parts dept...goodluck

I've tried both and the best is Zymol. The cheaper stuff in the blue bottle from Target and Walmart. Whatever you do though, do not get any on the top material. Only use it on the clear plastic. Polish it well though, not just wipe on and wipe off and you will be rewarded with crystal clear plastic. It will last for months with no issues. If you want something to help maintain it easily, Plexus works ok but seems to remove the nice slick layer that Zymol puts down.

Wow. I've just used the Porsche crap in the black bottle twice a year. Yes, a pain in the ***. But it seems to work well for me.

For those of you that will keep your cars for a long time, apparently there is a replacement top that has a glass window in it. It replaces our tops with the plastic window. I don't have a name, but I've seen it on a website.
