I'm dipping my toes in the market for a Cayman, and I would like to try and find one in Atlas Grey. Does anyone know what year this color was introduced?

Doesn't mention the Cayman explicitly, but it seems like 2004...

I'm fairly sure that it came on both the 987.1 & 987.2 every year but not on the 981. Was one of my top choices, looks best with the red interior. I didn't like it with any of the other standard interiors colors with it also I didn't want to spend the extra crash on the red. Plus,thought I'd get tired of it, went Midnight Blue and gray interior.

I think what you want to do is check a website like this:

PS: A quick check on the website shows 2006-2011 for Cayman and 2004-2011 for Boxsters...

I own a 2006 987 Boxster S in Atlas Grey. Love the colour. It only has 40K miles on it.

It shows a little blue under sunlight and dark grey when it's overcast.
