My two 987.1 cayman s have been by far the most reliable cars I've ever owned. My current 08 and my first Porsche (06) were/are vastly more reliable than my 997 C4S. I track and autocross all of them. After 18k miles in the 987 platform I've had exactly no issue minus one of the TPMS sensor reached its battery life (covered under warranty). Amazing car to own and maintain

I have 30,000 miles on my 06 and all it's ever needed from me is oil.

I would expect/hope that would be the case. I am looking for experiences in the 70K+ and 100K+ mile range.

I think you're in the boat like any other car in that range with miles. Things start needing to be replaced. That's a car that's been driven daily while a low mileage car is a weekend driver or toy most likely.

I purchased an '06 w 28K miles after reading a lot here and some other Porsche sites about reliability. I found a great bunch of information with most owners stating they were very reliable and perhaps the most reliable car they had owned recently.
