After weeks of testing with development partner Champion Motorsport, GIAC is ready to release performance software for the Porsche GT4. This new stage one calibration improves peak horsepower over stock by 12 HP and 8 Ft/Lbs of torque at the wheels with no other upgrades.
The program is also designed to take advantage of any improvements in motor efficiency. When the GIAC program is used with a BMC "drop in" intake filter, peak gains are increased to 18 HP and 16 Ft/Lbs of torque at the wheels bringing the 385 HP GT4 to 405 HP at the engine as seen in the graph below.
With an average increase of 20 HP and 20 Ft/Lbs of torque from 4300rpm to 6500 rpm, this package provides notable improvements everywhere in the power band. To better illustrate the complete performance increase over stock, the graph below shows the difference the GIAC program and BMC drop in filter make at each rpm point.
