Hi folks,

So I´m trying to upgrade to newer maps on my Boxster but I find excessive the price tag dealer wants to charge.

I´m doing a research on the internet and found several webs that sells the updated DVD much cheaper. Do you guys know if installation is as easy as sellers claims? I read something about PCM firmware versions... My boxster is late 2006 so I guess I´m ok with that (November `06).

It should be the same as any '06. You might have better luck in another sub forum. Or contact Suncoast Porsche parts in Florida if you want the gospel on what you need.
