Hello All I just bought a 2008 Cayman and was wondering how I can identify which engine the vehicle has in it . The previous owner said it had the larger displacement . Looking for some direction .

Thanks for your help

WOW....you purchased a Porsche without knowing which model? Did you get a PPI?
There is a difference in value (sale price) for an S (3.4L engine) and base (2.7L engine)
Model badge on back of car should have an "S" or not as the model designation.
VIN will also tell you model as well.
