New 718 owner... my thoughts on the car after owning it about a week

^^ The 718 S brakes are the base model 991 (4 piston). That's typical of Porsche when upgrading brakes model to model. The upgraded Boxster S/Cayman S usually get the current base 911 brakes. Still more braking power than my '14 981 S I imagine. Those brakes looked tiny with the 20" OEM wheels.

The one thing I did hear from both reading articles and speaking with some previous gen cayman owners is that the car previously did not have as much low end torque as they would like. The 718, due to the twin turbos, fixed that quite well. One thing that I can testify is that the 718 has plenty of low end torque in my opinion.
