2005 Boxster S, need a front wheel!

Mom hit a ****ing curb and destroyed a rim and tire on the Boxster S...

Where is the best place to get oem wheels?

Looking for 2005.5 (987) Boxster S front rim, 18" diameter, not the lobster claws, the other ones.

PS what are they called?

They look like so:

Size: 286.6 KB

Anyone got a front in good condition they are willing to part with?

Those look like the lobster claw wheels. I would be checking with the Porsche salvage yards to pick up a used wheel for much less than dealers would charge. What part of the country are you in?

Second the salvage yard suggestion.

There's Parts Heaven in Hayward, CA. Oklahoma Foreign in Oklahoma City, OK.

Beyond those two check out the ads in Excellence for a Porsche salvage business near you.

Probably going to need to have the alignment checked. An impact with the curb hard enough to ruin a tire and a wheel is based on my experience (thankfully not with either of my Porsche cars) will be enough to affect alignment. Could find something bent even.
