Hi all!

I'm in the market for a track day car. I've been looking for a 986 Boxster maybe even a 987, but I'm leaning toward the 986 for IMS upgrades later on.

Anyway, I wanted to get a Brey Krause roll bar extension for the 986. I'm 6ft tall and wondered if the 1 3/4" extension would be enough for PCA regulations (HPDE, time trials) if I were wearing a helmet. I heard you need 2" clearance from the broomstick and I have no way of knowing if this will work or not before I buy the car / roll bar. Anyone have experience with this around my height?
