PDK repair - not for the faint hearted......WOW !

What a story......you won't believe this...
My PDK started to leak fluid about 4 weeks ago. I took it into the local dealer under warranty....1 WEEK LEFT ON THE WARRANTY !!!
They attempted to replace the trans pan and gasket. That resulted in catastrophic faults being thrown.
After 7 days of contemplation, they got the "go ahead" from PNA to replace the valve body.
That did not resolve the fault codes....they were unable to reset them even after a complete PDK reflash.
Finally, after 2 more weeks, they got Stuttgart tech support involved and were able to clear the codes successfully.
WOW, I WAS SWEATING BULLETS.....as a new PDK is $20k plus labor.
My total final cost on this was: $0.00. Yep, the local dealer totally covered it under warranty. I was impressed.
I'm good-to-go now.....a very happy camper.

Bottomline: A PDK is nothing to mess around with....there are only a handful of engineers in this world that can fix these mombo-complex electro-mechanical devices.
