Cayman with New RH RAU's

I cant post replies yet on this forum....guess my account is to new. So, I just wanted to respond to some of the comments in the similar post by GMP. The cayman S you see there is mine. I bought it with stock 18's and put 3600 miles on it with them. However, I was looking for an aftermarket wheel that filled the wells out better and brightened it up. I wanted to stay true to cayman form and the RAU's still keep the stock cayman look, but add some class. The cayman has been dropped about an inch in the front and rear with Eibach Pro-Kit springs.

I had the RAU's installed last week. The front drivers side tire is out of round (bad from the factory), but all the rest have been balanced on a Hunter GSP 9700. Tires are Michilen PS2's. Even with the front drivers wheel not quite in sync, the drive is very nice. only just a little vibration through the steering wheel at speeds over 55mph. Next week the new tire should be in and it should be smooth sailing

For the record....the wheels aren't "stuffed" as shiggins put it.The wheels and tires stay within 1.5% of the stock wheel diameter, which is very acceptable and should cause no problems with the caymans PSM or ABS, and other electronics.

After I have a few miles on them, I would be happy to comment on the ride in more detail. From what I can tell in the first hundred miles or so, it is spectacular. Not harsh at all.

If your not crazy about the look...well, thats ok, but GMP did their research on these wheels fitment. Personally, I think they look very....very nice.
