Cayman owners - does it drone?

On long trips, does the constant drone of the engine right behind your head get tiresome? I am not talking tasty noises of acceleration, but sustained, constant highway speeds. It seemed to me when I test drove one that the rear glass seemed to make the engine noise "boom" inside the cockpit.

Was I wrong?

I have no problems at all on long trips...if you're in 6th gear and just give the gas light pressure, there is pretty much no drone...its only when you step on it a bit harder does the car start to drone...
