AudiGuy is infamous around these parts
Boxster CD changer
2001 boxster S. It needs a new CD chagner and dealer wants like $800. What aftermarket units will work? I dont mind spending the $800, its just that ive heard these are junk and I dont want to spend that money to have it go out again.

Tool Pants is infamous around these parts
The Becker 2660 is the same as the Porsche CDC-3. You will have to buy used or refurbished as the model has been discontinued.

I had the same problem. I think its better to buy an iPod and connect it to the changer aux point. Now I can have my whole cd collection in the car ( and anywhere else I want).

Just a thought.
