I am sorry I didn't remember this earlier, but I had a faulty taillight that turned out to be a computer problem. I had to take it to the dealer and it was not the bulb that was bad. Can't remember what they did to it but they had to interface the car and reset something. My car did say there was a faulty bulb though.

chig is infamous around these parts
"Easyc," the rest of my electrical system seems to be fine. I'll probably have to take it to the dealership here in Austin. I haven't heard any good news about Roger Beasey here but it's the only dealership within 75 miles.

By the way, I took off the headlight assembly and it seem to have the spray jets attached to it. I've looked online and I haven't seen any with the jets attached. Will this be an issue if I end up ordering one online later. (If it is the headlight assembly, I really don't want to buy it from the dealership.) Are they detachable?

Welcome aboard

Welcome aboard,

Welcome to owning a Porsche, it's like no other car I have ever had. Definetly a different ball game in maintenance, warm ups, cool downs, etc. at least for my Turbo! Smoke on some start ups, oil checking at every gas fill up, cooling turbo's after every time I drive it. But all in all its all worth owning a Porsche. Try to find a good qualified mechanic in you area.
