Is it possible to add the factory nav?

For the life of me, I can't find a Cayman with all the go-fast goodies and the nav. Hell I'm not even sure I can find a Cayman with all the go-fast goodies--doesn't anyone buy Porsches to go fast anymore?

So, if I find a car that has the PASM and Chrono, can I add the navigation afterwards? Is it really difficult? I see nav systems on ebay but have no idea what's involved in the install.

Thanks

My dealer added the factory nav. to my 997. No problem. I assume the same is true of a Cayman, but any dealer where you are looking at these cars can tell you, and give you a price.

I'm mostly looking at lightly used cars. I went to a dealer and they did a national search for cars with PCM, PSAM, and Chrono and turned up ONE car....and it was a tiptronic I'm too impatient and ADD to wait 4 months for a car to be ordered and delivered.

Doesn't the 997 have a screen there already, so you just add the software right? The Cayman has a totally different center console...

Sould not be a problem. Sounds like a major expence to add the nav though, unless you get lucky and find a used one.
