does anyone want to trade short shifters? i have the B&M Race shifter, which is the same as the normal short hisfter that everyone likes, except that its taller and easier to reach while racing so you don't need 2 move your hands off the wheel too far. it takes porsche factory shift *****, but unlike the normal SSK, it has a normal round threaded neck so you can put aftermarket shift ***** on it too.
I started with a Europipe Stage 2 Loud. Best exhaust, bar none. Then came the GT640 kit and FVD Aluminum Intake Plenum, short shift kit and light weight flywheel.
Upgraded to GT700. Added JIC/Cross suspension with medium springs and GT3 adjustible sway bars. (PRO - I always run at 3/4 hard on the bars and coil overs
).
Next came the BBS Aluminum Racing wheels in GT2 size with 245/40/18 & 335/30/18 RA1s (fender rolling required on the rears) and a 1-off Europipe exhaust (1/2 the backpressure of the EP2L). Added the Sportec front brake cooling ducts from Kevin at UMW this past spring.
Car is off to EVO, with Howie's, next week. Here are the possibe results, in order of probability:
1. Engine build
2. 3.8L Engine build, keeping the GT700 tubros
3. 3.8L Engine build, adding slightly bigger turbos
4. Motons
5. Brakes
In addition to this, I bought a black leather A-Pillar replacement with 3 gauge pods built in. I would like to get that installed with an AEM air/fuel gauge and perhaps an EGT and oil temp gauge.

sounds like you got a plan. Where did you get the leather a pillar? any pics?
I am in the midst of changing up my car too (gt30 or gt35's).

Jags - I bought the leather 3 pod A pillar used from Sam at Speed Gallery. Sorry, no pictures. It came off a lease return car. He may have a connection for you. Have you tried the larger GT28's Mike @ Evo has on his 3.8? I guess your planning for the complete fuel system / pump upgrade.
