Weekend in Vancouver

Greetings all.

I will be meeting some old friends in Vancouver the weekend after next, and am looking for recommendations in regards to bars/restaurants/any other "interesting" things to do. I believe that we already have reservations for Gotham Steak House one night, so anything along the lines of that would be great.

Last time I was up that way (6 years ago), we stayed at the Four Seasons and it was quite enjoyable. Is that still the marquee hotel dowtown, or are there better options (money not an object)?

ps- the more places to meet single women the better

Cheers and many thanks!

One place I frequent ALOT is Kobe's Japenese Steak house on Alberni street.
Ask for Raz(manager) and tell him Stacy sent you and ask him to get Raffy or Jimmy to cook for you.

Thank you Stacy!

I have now moved my hotel accomodations to the Opus Hotel in Yaletown as I hear that is the "in" area to stay/go out. Is your restaurant in close proximity to that area? Also, I hear that the Opus bar is great place to hang out, but are there any better bars in Yaletown?

Thanks again and sorry for all the questions!
