0W40 Mobil 1

Hi there,

As much as i like going to the stealership and overpaying for motor oil; is there a place in the Greater Toronto Area that sells this for under 12 dollars a bottle?

thanks,

They have it, and 5W50, at the Crappy Tire in E-town. Sorry, that sounds like I"m not being helpful. I'm just saying if they have it here in E-town, they "should" carry it in Ontario too.....

Thanks for all the suggestions. I think i'll hit up Part Source since i couldn't find 0W40 at my local Canadian Tire nor Wal-Mart. Perhaps some local Porsche owner is hording the stuff.

"E-town" is Edmonton right?

I've also never heard of Schucks.

yeah your best bet is parts source and even if they don't have it in stock, get them to order it for you. they should be able to get some by ordering or transferring stock from another store.

i never heard of schucks as well. where is it located and how much do you pay per litre?

Yup, E-town or River City is Edmonton.

I too have never heard of Schucks, but his locale says he's from the Tri-Cities, so it must be a USA thing and USA dollars.

Yes, Washington state and us dollars! I know that during the summer I can subtitute with 15-50 mobil 1, which is at Walmart for $23 US for 5 quarts. Yes the $7 dollars per bottle was in quarts, not liters. SOrry for the confusion.

I've purchased it at Canadian Tire & Partsource as well, I believe for about $10 a bottle.
