Shipping cars across borders

Anyone have experience with shipping their car(s) to and from the US?

Not for the purpose of importing and registering but for leisure use / work done across the border.

What should I expect for this process?

Thanks!

Hey Sam,

Didn't know you were on 6 speed as well. You gotta come out for some drives with us!!
When Zippy and I shipped to Phoenix, we need a bond for the cars. I think it may have changed by now though. PM Superfly, he shipped his Ford GT last year to Cali. He can probably give you more and better details.
You're shipping from the US up here though aren't you?

H

When I shipped my car to Portland it was a nightmare with regards to the bond. My advise is to drive t over the border and then ship it to where you have to go. You'll also save about $1000 on your shipping because the truck doesn't need to be bonded as well.
