I'm contemplating the purchase of an Aston Martin in Florida and driving it back home. The drive back will take a few days as my wife and I plan to make a little vacation out of it. The paperwork is pretty clear and the dealer is helpful. Quick question is how do I get an Ontario plate to bring the car back to Toronto? I will have insurance arranged and a bill of sale. I won't have an MTO safety inspection, though. Anyone know what's involved in getting a plate (temporary or otherwise) to drive the car back?

get a temp plate from Florida, not here. IIRC, you'll have to pay state sales tax in Florida so it's not actually worth going to get it, cheaper to have it transported.
