ok guys... a few track day buddies of mine (with the following cars BMW Z4M, BMW M3, Golf R) are going to be meeting up for a short brunch meet next saturday - April 6. i know its not an 'exotic' meet but i figured i would put it out there. we're going to talk about track days we will be attending this season. anyone who is interested is welcomed to join. just drop me a PM and i'll keep you updated with the details. i'll drive my green frog to the meet as well.

would be nice to see your lovely 458... maybe we can share some track day info with you if you are interested in taking your car out to the track to open her up a little over the summer.

 

That's a definite yes ! It won't be a show car... I'll baby it yes but I plan on tracking it ! Car was built for that

what cars where you considering when shopping?and is the course only open to current Ferrari owners?

i want to do some karting this year,i only did 2 hours last year and im in need i just love those little things.

 

hey franky, you should come to our little meet next weekend as well. i can tell you how to sign up for various track days.

my buddies and i usually join events organized by BMW Quebec club, Viper club, PCA, etc. the events take place in various tracks such as Tremblant, ICAR, Sanair, St Eustache, Mosport (Toronto area), Calabogie (Ottawa area) and Watkins Glen.

 

here are some pictures taken last year when i took my car all the way down south to VIR... it was a long drive but a very worth while trip. i dont usually go this far every year of course.

 

here's i pick i took today of DGDS88T Zr1 and man that car is sweet and much much nicer in person.

when I was shopping for my next summer toy... I had only 2 choice.

360 Modena or F430.... It was a Ferrari or nothing, my child dream. So it was going to be one of the two and I finally end up picked a brand new 458 ! Had a great deal $ on it... When I see you remind to tell you the story behind the car. I save 85,000$ on the car before even it got ship from the factory to my door.

Yes only Ferrari but have a friend who owns a performance shop, only works on exotic Ferrari, Lambo, AMG, R8, Porsche, etc. that organise tracking event every year. I'll invite everyone here to join us when I get the date.
