I have a 2004 Cayenne S, Bought this back in march and ever since I seem to have issues with opening the doors. I purchased a new key from Porsche so I know its not the battery. It seems I have to be right up on the driver side door in order for the doors to unlock, Also it there a trick to opening the full tailgate instead of just the glass with the keyfob? any input is much appreciated.

I also have a 2004 Cayenne S & it seems that the keyfob doesn't transmit very far also.I believe it is a common complaint.As far as opening the full tailgate, push the tailgate button until the brakelights flash then release & tailgate will be unlocked. If you hold down too long on that button it will pop the glass.
