Heard some squealing recently and took it to the dealership... turns out it needs a new transmission and they are covering under warranty...

Wanted to know if I could have caused the issue by towing my 997 frequently with it?

Car weighs 3300 lbs on top of a featherlite trailer...

 

what kind of squealing did u here form your transmission. can u described in a little more detail on what happened. do u usually use the trip-tronic system more or just the Drive system.
