Has anyone had problems with their headlights developing a mind of their own? Got a warning on the dash to check headlight aglignment. Dealer has it and I am awaiting word.

 

No response. I have heard that they have an adjuster that is lighter in weight and will increase horsepower by about 10HP.......

 

Happened with my 08 when I first got it about 3 times. After that, it just went away.

 

Ron, I have an 06 S and have experienced the same problem. The dealer told me that it is a potentiometer. The part is currently on order and I should have it fixed next week.

 

It has happened once on my 08 CS. I turned the truck off and restarted, and it was fixed. A small gremlin maybe.

 

Turned out to be a leveling unit of some sort. Had to order the part and replaced after a couple of day wait. First they replaced one of the headlight assemblies and it still did the same thing. Works just fine now. As an aside while waiting to pick it up (I was earlier) my salesman gave me the keys to a new 08 CT to try......Wow.
