I love the 08 CS but...

The car is fantastic but I have some complaints.

*The zoom on the nav is backwards. This is 2008 not 1988 Porsche
*The cover in the back rattles sometimes (DRIVES ME CRAZY)
*The damn thing under the seat. I cant put my feet all the way back its like a step under the chair.... WTF is that about?!
*The Satelite radio when you change stations is SO SLOW!!!! Not even my Turbo or crap Benz did this...
EDIT***** THE WORSE THE FREAKIN HEADREST IN THE FRONT!!! wtf was porsche thinking what a stupid designe!
*Lay the seats down in the rear... umm why so difficult????? and why do they not lock in the up position?

But I surely wont get rid of it for these reasons.. the car is fantastic and exceeds my expectations in everything else.

I have an 04 and "something" in the back rattles when I hit bumps, speedbumps, etc. My dealer has never been able to figure it out.

i was thinking about point 1 myself last week; trying to decide if it made more sense in the reverse.

i have never had sat radio so didn't know it was slower than most. it did seem a little strange.

I have taken the tarp cover out, it isn't that. At least not on mine.

You mean that you hit the deck or whatever the seat is set on? I hit it with my ankle every once in a while but don't mind it.

Yea excatly, drives me crazy. Im 6'2 so maybe my legs are longer and I usually like to put them sideways while driving on long trips.

My wifes ML was in the shop 4 times becouse of a rattle and they found out that the bumper was not put on properly and they did not put some foam material they put between the bumper and some harness so it rattled. But thats Mercedes its expected

cayenne418 is infamous around these parts
I've searched for the rattle in my 08 and it seems to come from the ash trays in the rear doors.

Well guys, Porsche doesn't know how to make a family car, which is normal since they are in sports car business for years, you should take this into consideration before judging them. However, this rattling thing is driving me crazy too, I thought I was the only unlucky guy that has this problem. I was going to remove the tarp, but I changed my mind if you say it isn't the problem.

Other stupid things are,

You can't close the tailgate from the remote or from the button inside.

When you wash the rear window, rear vipers remain turned on, you must turn it back off.

Seats are uncomfortable

No iPod connection

Cd changer can't play MP3 disks, only the single cd can

BUT!!

I love my CS!!!

I've got a couple of issues too:

My Panaromic roof stuck a couple of times and the rubber sealing infront of the panaromic roof blew off the car and the first glass cant retract. Whilst fixing the panaromic roof the dealership spoiled by voice control system, single cd slot on the pcm.

I really hated my cayenne with the problems that started since day one with the faulty parking sensors, however the good thing every things fine now and I am quiet satisfied with the car after nearly two years and a half.

Cayenne gets sick in the first months of ownership, then after you bring her to the hospital, she gets better and better every time and after a while, she becomes perfect, however, what is the deal with the rattling anyways?
