what is too shiny?
I say go for it, you have very little to lose. RejeX is cheap and it very easy to apply. If you are afraid it will be too shiny try it on certain sections of your car. Best use is on the wheels to help prevent and make brake dust easy to clean and also the bumpers and winshield are key places to use RejeX.
I say give it a try, if it's too Shiny just get your car dirty.
