At least you have a head start on your winter set of wheels (with the Pirelli Ice and Snows). Are those 18s? If they are, it doesn't have the turbo power kit.

If it were me I would bail. Those are Tirerack wheels that they sell for winter wheels/tires, but you said it is a Navada car? Too many things arn't adding up here!!

Run the VIN with a local dealer you know to see what options the car came with. Find out when it was last serviced and what REAL warranty it has left or extended was purchased for it. It is not that great of a deal but it is okay. I would certainly continue to look around because the more you speak of it and what people are telling you I would have to say NO to this one and practice patience on finding a new one.

Good luck.

Unless its the tire size it looks like that car has been in a accident from the way that rear passenger tire sits. If you can get a shot of the drivers side you can better compare.. kind of weird it doesnt have a drivers side shot but front and back passenger.

haha... thanks for advice. I'm dealing w/a major dealership here in the Seattle area. His family has a few.., and he's a good friend of mine. In fact, I purchased my 996TT from him as well. WOW.. as I'm typing this up I just got a phone call that it arrived from the auction. He says it checks out real clean and drives great. YEAH!!!! I'll pick it up on Saturday possibly, going through a detail now. Oh man, I'm psyched.. love getting new cars.

I checked service before I bought it.. just had its 38K service (has 40K miles now) and everything checked out. I checked the VIN as well... nothing came up on it as far as damage. I guess the pictures didn't do her justice.., but beneath those ugly photos lies a baby just waiting for its first aftermarket mods. Cant keep a car guy from modding his car.

Yaaahhhtttzzziiiieee!!!! I can’t wait..!!!

Bruce... I've been to a few events in the 996TT. But I'm just so lazy/hard to pin down for these events. I'll do my best, always fun meeting you guys.

I would have to agree.

My 04 which is late build, wood package most options, 19" wheels 2 sets, A+ condition, 0 issues with 28k miles on it and I have tried to sell fro $43k but can't find a buyer. So I have decided to keep it and do the ecu flash and sport exhaust and keep it for a few more years. Figured how much more can they depreciate.

If you can walk I would. Think you can do better.

I agree with you guys.. but different markets have different prices. My car and mileage in Seattle is running at 1 dealership for $64K.. slightly lower miles.. and the $55K at a smaller known dealership with slightly higher mileage. Each being a 2004.

You can find a better deal all the time.. if you look. Considering I had a trade in, and for my market found a great deal. I'm satisfied.
