Subwoofers for Cayenne - Any Ideas?

I am looking for nice tight bass & am thinking about installing a 10" or a couple of 8"ers which fire through the ski pass in the rear seat.

I was also looking at the JL Audio Stealth which is a nice little enclosure with a 10". Has anyone tried this?

If anyone wants to share their installs with me I would appreciate it.

I am not looking for bass that you can hear a mile away - more looking for an audiophile type solution.

I'm very interested in the stealth box as well. I know BOSE systems can be a bit funky.., can I tap into the original system and add an amplifier just for the sub. Has anyone else done this?

Here's a picture I snagged off of eBay recently ... it looks like it can be removed and the cargo cover will cover the speaker/amp enclosure.

I bet this system will thump!

I added a JL audio 1/250 and a 2/10" JL W3 enclosure and had my installer wire it into the existing system. My dealer couldn't believe how good it sounds, but I spent a good deal of time setting volumes etc. All you have to do is wire it into the sub that's under the spare. I left that one working too so if I take the sub box out, the factory sub is still intact. I run my bass on the radio at 0, sounds really really solid and deep, not boomy or boxy. The fundamental note is very strong and I bypassed the amps xover and use the same xover frequency as the Bose sub. Hope this helps.

You cannot beat JL Audio, been the industry leader in aftermarket sound for years!
