I was planning on 3 coats, but your right, more lighter coats will make them last a lot longer...will do it your way for sure...thanks for the tips!

Do you think a different color might look good on it or just do it silver?

i put on a turbo front onto my S so i just had the grills painted when i had it in the shop.

it's very close to Arctic Silver, just doesn't have clearcoat. one of the grill was chipped so i used Arctic touch-up paint it matched perfectly. without clearcoat of course.

i think they look great as a contrast to the rest of the car.

it really highlights the turbo.

Silver CTT with silver grills

This 06 is on a local lot.
I like the look, and really like the wheels.

Mine is at the bodyshop right now having the grills done along with SpeedArt bumper added. I should be able to post the pics early next week.

Some clarification questions

I'm new at this. Bought a Titanium CTT S at the other end of the country and haven't picked it up yet. Would someone please tell me, what the stock grill looks like compared to the pictures in this thread?
Also, do the Tec equipment grills come in various colors right from Porsche?
Thanks from a newcomer!

Standard grills are black. Tequipment grills are only available in silver.

Alright, here are the pics of the SpeedArt / Turbo front with color keyed grills. Thanks to Cannoli I was able to install this myself today. Still working on the fender flares which I am not happy with - rather not have them but the body shop left one piece on the drivers side when painting!

Edit. I have also added a pic of the rear. I still need to install the new supersprint muffler and wheel spacers.

Good choices, I'm liking your CF mirrors. Thinking of doing this too on mine. Also love your rear bumper.... very clean/sleek look with the exhausts.
