are on. Is it pretty normal to need oil in less than 2k miles? Also, I thought these need service every 2 years or 20k miles - whichever comes first. Any reason it's telling us we need it in about 1k miles?

 

bring it in. do u have Cayenne Turbo? if it's Turbo u do need lots of oil

My Turbo's add oil light just came on again @ 15k miles. I've prob had it come on 5 times in the 15k miles, just added a quart and off I go. Seems the Turbo engine goes thru oil like gasoline. Think of it as an on-the-fly oil change. ;-)

 

thanks scott, but how about the service at what will be sub 3k miles despite it supposedly needing it every 2 yr/20k miles?

 

Give the dealer a call -- my "Service in 2k miles" light is on but I have 16k -- I think they want it in at 18k. Not sure why yours is on so early.

Your driving it too hard! It's made in the same factory, but it's not a CGT!

I've done two oil changes so far. My service light first came on at around 11,000 miles and then again around 23,000. I now have 31,000. I must be driving it too hard.

BTW, what color did you get?
